Job description
Kitchen Assistant (m/f/d) – Winter Season 2026/27
South Tyrol, Italy | 3 December 2026 – 5 April 2027
€2,000 net | 07:30–16:30 | Free accommodation & meals
For a modern and busy mountain restaurant located directly in a South Tyrolean ski area, we are looking for an experienced Kitchen Assistant for the upcoming winter season – someone who already knows how a professional kitchen works.
This is not a position for someone looking to try hospitality for the first time.
When the ski area gets busy around lunchtime, so does the kitchen. That’s when speed, organisation, resilience and teamwork really matter. You need to stay focused under pressure, think ahead and be ready to step in wherever the team needs you.
In return, you’ll join an experienced team, work in a fantastic mountain environment and enjoy one major advantage: your regular working day finishes in the afternoon.
Essential Requirements
- Good German OR good Italian is required
- Previous professional kitchen experience is essential
- Experience in a busy restaurant, hotel or mountain operation is an advantage
- Ability to work independently and take responsibility for your tasks
- Physically fit and able to stay focused during intense and high-volume services
- A responsible attitude towards alcohol is expected – alcohol during working hours will not be tolerated
- This position is not suitable for applicants without previous kitchen experience
What Really Matters to Us
We are looking for someone the kitchen team can rely on.
You don’t need to be the loudest person in the kitchen – but when things get busy, you need to stay calm, work quickly and see what needs to be done next.
This means:
- Understanding the daily routines of a professional kitchen
- Working quickly, cleanly and efficiently
- Staying calm and productive during high-volume service
- Good organisation and a sense of priorities
- Consistently following hygiene standards
- Team spirit and willingness to support your colleagues
- Reliability and punctuality
- Professional and respectful behaviour
In short: we’re looking for someone who knows what a genuinely busy service feels like – and can still keep a cool head.
Your Working Day
As part of the kitchen team, you’ll assist with preparation and ongoing service, helping your colleagues ensure everything runs smoothly even on the busiest winter days.
Regular working hours:
- 07:30–16:30
- 1–2 days off per week, depending on the rota
What We Offer
- €2,000 net per month
- Regular working hours: 07:30–16:30
- 1–2 days off per week
- Overtime paid separately
- 13th and 14th salary paid pro rata
- Free accommodation
- Free meals
- Regular Italian employment contract
- Full social insurance
- Full winter season from 3 December 2026 to 5 April 2027
- Workplace in the heart of the South Tyrolean mountains
- Professional and experienced kitchen team
