For a family-run residence hotel in South Tyrol, we are looking for a Receptionist (m/f/d) to join the team.

Do you enjoy working in hospitality and being in contact with guests – but still want enough time for your own life?

Then this position could be particularly interesting for you. Full-time means working five days per week, eight hours per day. There are no split shifts, you have two days off per week and every second Sunday off.

Part-time employment is also possible by arrangement.

Key Requirements

• You enjoy working with people
• You are friendly, reliable and organised
• You can work independently and take responsibility
• You speak German and Italian
• English is an advantage
• Previous experience at a hotel reception or in tourism is an advantage
• You enjoy working as part of a team
• Ideally, you are looking for a long-term position in South Tyrol

Previous reception experience is welcome, but it’s not the only thing that matters. Personality, organisational skills and genuinely enjoying working with guests are just as important.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Welcoming guests in a friendly and personal way
• Check-in and check-out
• Processing reservations
• Preparing and managing offers and bookings
• Answering guest enquiries by phone
• Handling written enquiries and emails
• Coordinating guest stays with other areas of the hotel
• Working independently and reliably
• Providing warm and professional guest service
• Working closely with the rest of the team

In short: you should enjoy working with people, be well organised and take pride in making guests feel welcome and well looked after from their very first contact.

Your Working Day

In a full-time position, you’ll work:

5 days × 8 hours = 40 hours per week

Depending on your shift, you’ll start at 8:00 am or 10:00 am and then work a continuous eight-hour shift.

No split shifts.

You’ll have two days off per week and every second Sunday off.

Part-time employment is also possible by arrangement.

Meals are provided by the employer during working hours.
